Martin and Miriam tied the knot at the historic Old Town Hall in Fairfax, VA. It was a beautiful East meets West affair, with a wonderful dose of Korean traditions mixed in with some good ol’ classic Southern charm. The design of their day incorporated lots of soft, feminine details: mismatched blush-toned bridesmaids’ dresses from J.Crew, pastel floral arrangements, and tons of antique teapots and china, to name just a few.
It’s always hard for us to choose a favorite image or moment from any given wedding, since we tend to think of all the images as our “babies” (yes, yes, we know you’re rolling your eyes as you read this!) On this day, though, we were lucky enough to witness one of the sweetest moments of the year: the couple’s first look. Martin and Miriam decided to see each other before the wedding, and what a wonderful decision it turned out to be for them! It was an incredibly sweet, emotional and powerful moment for both of them, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t tear up a little ourselves.
